Art Gallery

I used Wix to create the site. Here is the address.

You can chose to start from a template or create from scratch (which is what I did) and this allows you more creative freedom. It is very easy to manage the photos in the gallery as you click on the gallery and select manage photos. You can select from different menus so the navigation will be easy and straight forward for the users. Due to the creative freedom you can make the site as sophisticated as you want. You can have multiple sites with the one account so you might even have different sites for each year group and have a set of links to each of them.
At the moment you can't search through the gallery but the wix team is currently in advanced development stages on it so it should be released in the near future.

Art 3000

Positives It is designed specifically for artworks and photography.
You can just select from the dropdown menu various aspects of the artwork like form of art, style, genre, media, year and you can also type in a description easily.
You can uploads lots of artworks.

Negatives
The navigation is really confusing.
It's complicated to do certain things like opening a new page/tab or gallery.
I think you can only do still images.
I can't figure out how to change the background/template and because the back colour is black it looks really dark and depressing.

Blue Zeppelin

Positives
It's very easy to manage, upload new pictures and write descriptions (this is where you can put the materials used, artist, size of the artwork).
When you click the image it does zoom a little bit and then includes the description.

Negatives
You can only have 6 artworks.
Image types are: jpg, gif or png
Maximum file size is 3 megabytes.
You have to upgrade to change the template or remove the ads however the upgrades are currently disabled so you can't change it.
You can't have new tabs or pages or galleries.

Overall I don't think we should use this website as it isn't the best suited for our needs. I also decided to include a screenshot to show how annoying the ads are and to show how boring the default template is.
