well, i'm in a group with michelle and michaela and we are doing online banking. i'm going to question 4 (describe some ways this information can be misused) and question 5 ( what are the ethical responsibilities of those who maintain the database).
sir decided to discuss each of the topics to give us ideas so here is what i remembered from what he said.
some people steal the eftpos swipers and change it, then pretend to be service men and put it in shops and whoever uses it will have their withdrawl put it in the scamers account and their details will be saved. some people put cameras around it or a device under the keypad so they know your pin.
we will probably do a slide show to present it.
